The elevator safety clamp device is a safety device that stops the car and clamps it on the guide rail when the speed exceeds the speed set by the speed limiter or when the suspension rope breaks or loosens. It provides effective protection for the safe operation of the elevator and is generally installed on the car frame or counterweight frame. The safety clamp device consists of two parts: the operating mechanism (safety clamp linkage mechanism) and the braking mechanism (safety clamp).
This product is divided into instantaneous safety clamp and progressive safety clamp. The instantaneous safety clamp is used for elevators with a speed of ≤0.63m/s, and the progressive safety clamp is used for elevators with a rated speed of ≤2.5m/s.
